Rutgers Business School celebrates its second MBA Oktoberfest

Written by: Ömercan Karaduman and Martin Esser

At 4pm on October 3rd the MBA International Students Organization (ISO) kicked off its annual Oktoberfest event, now in its second year. With authentic German beer on tap, soft-dough pretzels, traditional decorations and music, over 100 MBA students enjoyed a snippet of German culture.

After five weeks of classes, the event gave students the chance to de-stress from classes, mingle, network and learn about Germany. Other events hosted by the ISO are Indian and Chinese New Year celebrations, as well as speaker and career management events. The mission of the ISO is to promote cultural sensitivity and understanding, as well as creating awareness for international issues in business. And of course to have fun.
